Honors Haven/Halloween

This past week we had the annual Fire District's Conference up in Ellenville, NY. Sadly, the Nevele closed a few years ago, but they turned the old Fallsview Hotel into the Honors Haven Resort and Spa. It is really nice now for anyone looking for a quick upstate getaway.

All ready for Halloween!

Eating cereal for the first time. It went pretty well. She seems to like it and opens her mouth looking for more with each bite. Pretty soon we will be onto fruits and veggies.

We came home from our trip just in time for the Rag-a-Muffin Parade with the North Massapequa Fire District. The parade has been going on for 34 years (yes we marched when we were this little too) and ends with some prizes and hot dogs for all to enjoy. We met up with the Vitales, Espos, Cowans, Needhams, Gebhardts and Tammy. What a fun day!

Cooperstown

For Joe's 30th Birthday we took a long car ride up to Cooperstown, NY to the Baseball Hall of Fame. It was a little chilly up there, but it was nice to see the Hall of Fame and all the memorabilia and history of the sport of baseball. Here are a few photos from the trip.

You can't tell...but it is actually snowing.
